Judith Percy is the owner and licensed instructor of Music Lingua Quincy, a native of Germany, Fulda (Hesse). She has resided in the USA since 1996 and moved to Quincy, Il, in 2014. Judy is married, has nine children, and is a home school veteran. Music Lingua Quincy was officially established in 2016 to serve the Quincy area. Frau Percy graduated from Quincy University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree from Erikson Institute. |
About your German InstructorJudith was born in Fulda, Germany. She started to listen and learn English at a young age. In school, Judy also learned English and French. After graduating from High School in Germany, Judy spent a few months in Cheyenne, Wyoming as an exchange student. She then decided to study English and French at Inlingua Language School in Fulda, Germany.
Judy moved to the USA in 1996. 2014 she started teaching German to Junior High and High School Students in a homeschool co-op. Judy found Music Lingua, LLC, and their fantastic curriculum for young children as she received a booklet from a mother. She then inquired about Music Lingua and found it a great opportunity and enriching experience to bring to Quincy. Since 2016, Judy has been offering Music Lingua German classes in Quincy and surrounding areas and officially started Music Lingua Quincy. Music Lingua is an excellent curriculum to expose children to a new language in a meaningful way. Later, Judy added several other curriculums for young children to choose from and widened her course offerings. Learning a second language early in life is a blessing. Judy wants to offer this opportunity to the children in her community. Related Work Experiences In the past, Judy worked in early learning centers, preschools, and volunteered at church programs, Frau Percy is a German instructor at John Wood Community College, JDUB, TrioUpward Bound, Montessori School Quincy, and St. Peter. She is employed at Blessing's Early Learning Center as an early childhood teacher and director designee. Education Judy attended Inlingua Language School for two years before immigrating to the USA, where she studied French, English, and German. Licensed Music Lingua German Instructor since 2016. Judy graduated from Quincy University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and erned Master in Science in ECE Leadership and Advocacy in May 2023 from Erikson Institute.
